Wow, Nice photo! Happy WW! You have reminded me to put up my photo! I was always scared of dragonflies when I was little.....I don`t remember why though!

ps: Dragonflies, of tonbo in Japanese, are considered lucky in Japan. They appear on a lot of Japanese towels or summer yukata! It has something to do with them always been around the rice fields! But I am not really sure!!!

I have a coulpe of dragonflies flitting around my garden but I've never managed to catch one.
Pssst! Come closer...(Whispers)..instead of taking some yarrow flowers to Veronica why not surprise her by dividing your plant and potting up a piece for her to start her own herb garden?

wow! not only because the subject is a dragonfly, i also wonder how it seems to be just resting on the finger... do you have some tips on how to do this... i would love to try it :)

I know it defies imagination, but there was a time when those buggers had a three foot wingspan. Then, I think, they might well have eaten people - if there had been people, but there weren't. Just some little shrew-like critters that were real busy dodging dinosaurs. And those things, I imagine.
